The basis of the profession of pharmacy has always been the physician-patient-pharmacist relationship.

Pill COMPOUNDING
Our service is based on a process called compounding. Compounding is the mixing together of pharmaceutical grade chemicals and other ingredients to create specific medicines.

Because everything is made from scratch, each drug can be tailor-made to fit a patients needs. This allows a doctor to prescribe customized medication that is not commercially available, or to place an available medication in a different dosage form to meet a specific patient's need and improve results.

Pill FLEXIBILITY
Flexibility with regard to dosage strength eliminates unnecessary waste and expense.

Different routes of administration can eliminate side effects such as stomach upset.

Concentration can be changed, and flavoring can disguise an unpleasant taste.

Medication can often be placed into a different dosage form that is more convenient to administer or absorbed better.

Pill DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS
Many medications are no longer available. However, there are often patients for whom this product provided the best remedy. Our specially trained pharmacists can compound a medication containing the same active ingredients as the discontinued product.

Pill YOUNG AND OLD
Hospice, geriatric, and pediatric patients often have unique needs, and we can provide specific solutions for their medication problems.

Pill ANIMALS AND PETS
Our expertise extends not only to people, but to their pets as well. We understand the special problems involved in taking care of a sick animal. Because animals don't like taking medicine any more than humans do, we add flavorings and ingredients that fit an animals diet and habits.
